Very spotted carpet, dirty grout joints, unknown items stuck on walls around trash can, dirty sofa, very sticky floor, and failing caulking joints in the shower on the ledges. "We truly enjoyed our stay at this historic arts-and-crafts hotel. The room was comfortable and we loved sitting in front of the big fireplace in the lobby with a glass of wine in the evening. The restaurant food was good (though it would have been nice to have access to a less-formal menu too). There were several events taking place in the hotel's large ballrooms over the weekend, a prom and a wedding, but the main guest areas remained quiet and pleasant. "
