"We had room 8 upstairs and it was in desperate need of maintenance. a large section of Floor tiles in the living room were loose with no grout around them, so walking on them felt like they would break. The toilet did not flush properly and you needed a bucket of water to get it to flush, The back of the toilet area was filthy, and the oven had a huge section above it where the new oven had been installed, but was significantly shorter than the previous one, so there is just a big dirty gap above it. The staff at the hotel were lovely and overall the public area and pool were great. We had friends in 2 other units and they were also older and in need of some TLC, but were of a higher standard than the apartment (8) that we were given. The location was good. Thanks."

"Rooms look nothing like photos. Stayed 3 nights, light outside room was on the whole night and the curtain barely kept the light out so room was very bright. "

"It’s a backpackers not a resort I didn’t even staff the night the root seat was old with the lacquer coming off it and the room smelt old and funny and can hear everything in the other rooms from conversations to them showering "

"We've stayed here a number of times since 2020. There appears to have been changes in ownership in recent times as some things are different. We always stay in the premium side (see their main pic) which is separated from the other side which has the cheaper accommodation. There is keyed entry into this complex as added security. There is no lift in this complex and you have to climb the fire escape stairs if you are on the top (3rd) floor. The rooms are of a generous size and have balconies. They have a microwave and some have a full size fridge. There is off-road parking and generally, you can get a parking spot. The lower floors are prone to exhaust fumes when guests leave their car running for long periods of time. Staff smoking is on one side of this complex and if you have a room on that side, you can smell the smoke - even in the higher floors. Our air-conditioning wasn't working when we arrived. They moved us to another room on the same floor without any issue. When checking out, the receptionist was really nice and helpful. This was a marked difference from when checking in and that person was not too welcoming. We will stay here again when it is reasonably priced as the rooms are a bit tired. We like that it is reasonably central and there are some good take-aways within walking distance around the area. But like anywhere these days, care needs to be taken when walking."

"The hotel is quite tired and a little run down. The cleaning wasn't very good, the bathroom floor was a bit sticky and the doors and walls were quite grimy. There's not enough lighting which made reading difficult. The breakfast was very good and varied. The staff were friendly and helpful with any enquiries. The pool temperature was a little cold and could've done with 4-5 degrees higher and the spa way too cold. "
