"Unbelievable experience. I stayed here many times years ago. This was a definite step up from past management. Great linens, loved the fireplace in the room, enjoyed the ocean view deck for incredible sunsets nightly and the breakfast was the best selection we have ever had. Great staff!!!!! Will definitely return. Used the trolley for free from Airport to Old Town and the Coaster train to Carlsbad. Used the train to go to Oceanside to Pronto office to fix ticket purchase issue and then to Downtown to take the Sea boat excursion and lunch at Seaport Village. "

"We loved our stay at Beach Terrace! My husband and I stayed there with our two children in January 2026. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach valet was such an awesome perk! Our kids loved playing with the beach toys and it was so nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit with the chairs and umbrella. It did seem like there weren’t many other children at the hotel the same time as us, hopefully we didn’t kill the vibe for the other guests. The hotel and its views are beautiful. Highly recommend!"
