"Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city. The room was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast excellent, the service first rate. I did not try the restaurant for dinner, although I gave heard excellent reports of it. I tried a couple of restaurants in the neighborhood, La mama and Casa Romanaesca for Romanian food - both great and within a few minutes’ walking distance. The George Enescu Philharmonic historic concert hall is across the street as is the National Museum of Arts - and many more within walking distance - the location is simply outstanding."

"Great location at a great price. You just walk underground across the street and you’re in the old town. They have a sauna gym and massage room in the basement. Really nice massage! The rooms were clean and comfortable. And the shower was great, which has not always been my experience in Eastern Europe!"

"Stylish hotel on a side street in Bucharest. The staff as friendly and helpful and the furnishings were very appealing. A lot of classic authentic furniture. I had a massive oak desk in my room that made me want to plot world domination from there. All that and a courtyard kitty!"

"View from the room, service, and friendly staff members were great except a leaky sink in the bathroom. We notified them three times but couldn’t be fixed. A bit disappointing at this level of the hotel. Other than that, we were very happy that we stayed here. The first two nights, we enjoyed their gift of fruits and wine. "
