"Beautiful new facility. Great location - easy walk to the historic area. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with options a step above the usual hotel offering. Only complaint was apparently they have a mandatory $15/day valet parking which was not mentioned in the listing nor explained upon our arrival. We had no parking issues the first two days of our stay but on our third day a valet informed us we had to pay $15 to park there. He became very rude and stated he would have our vehicle towed. The hotel needs to either clearly state there is a parking charge or just include it in the daily rate. "

"Our room was a studio, and was very nice. Comfy bed, small kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. Room was very clean and had most of the usual amenities (I might suggest a toaster!). Would definitely stay here again"

"Hotel Alice is one of our favorite places to stay at Atlantic Beach. We stay year round, however the last time I noticed the rooms were NOT as clean as previous stays! Everything from the bed likened to the towels. We were very disappointed because we know this isn’t the normal experience."

"Room was very clean, comfortable bed, beachfront was awesome! My only issue were the walls are very thin so hope your neighbors are quiet. Mine were not! They talked and laughed very loud all evening long. I don't mind people having fun but these guests did not respect other neighbors. I had to call front desk twice. Not sure that helped for it went on well after 11 pm. I had to turn up TV just to drown out the noise. Besides that, a good stay. Restaurants and bars were not open in the hotel so don't count on that. Maybe to early in season. Overall, a 4 star rating."

"The rooms are clean and the grounds seem to be well kept...other then that my stay was horrible. The location is weird and the property owner is not at all professional or customer service friendly. I should have left when I first got to the place because while I was checking in the property owner was reading off a clipboard full of his personal rules while staying at the property... It was overwhelming and very unrealistic and so uncomfortableb but I understand that was his place and he had rules he wanted followed . I "
