We were amazed at this hotel! Loved it! The room was incredible and had a view of the water we didn’t expect. The staff was great. The breakfast was pretty good and it was delivered to our door! There were also fresh baked cookies and access to a nearby gym and pool! The convenient location allowed us to get to the beach quickly, Beaufort even more quickly, and there were places to eat within walking distance. We hope to stay here again!!

Great location, great staff and amenities! I was hoping for a high floor room but our type of room only was available in lower floors. Still the balcony & furniture was fabulous. Breakfast was just ok but was included and delivered! I really enjoyed sitting on the hotel patio in the rockets. Great neighbor in the house next door! Everyone was so friendly!

I lived the room and staff were very accommodating. My room did have a small leak from the air conditioning unit in master bedroom which caused a small wet spot on carpet with a slight mildew smell. Other than that, I loved it! I look forward to returning next year.

Shoutout to Dawn and Amanda. You ladies were wonderful. Breakfast wasn’t much to write home about. After trying just once, we ate breakfast out the rest of the week. Cold sandwiches delivered to your door just didn’t cut it for us. Really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Not having a pool on site definitely a negative.

Loved the large comfy rooms. Great views from the balcony. Close to the water with outdoor seating to watch the boats coming in and out. Breakfast was amazing, hand made and brought to the room. The ‘old bask’ (with its spacious studios on the upper floors with the seaside view) was always a lovely place to stay, with its close proximity to piers, docks & restaurants. The now completed additions are an upgrade but now it also includes the new restaurant “mar” with a Top Chef associate running the kitchen (one had to try the grilled octopus sitting on a plantain!) This puts Morehead City into a whole new experience level, justifying the long trip
