Thought the furniture was slightly disappointing as staining on varnish on surfaces where people had not been careful with drinks etc . But otherwise very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and a short drive from the town centre. "

"Really nice room, very clean and comfy and a short walk into town. Only point to note is that there are not many lights in the room so felt dark, even with the curtains open during the day"

"We’ve stayed here a few times with our dog visiting family. Staff were attentive and the service is always great. Gave the gym and swimming a miss this time but previously used and it’s an added bonus. As well as breakfast we had a bar meal which was excellent. Highly recommend."
