"Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside."

"Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, quiet. Convenient for the railway station, but also cheap car park nearby(£5 for 24 hours). Plus, breakfast and supper are avaiable within the hotel. "

"Really nice hotel. Managed to use gym and pool aswell. Breakfast was really good and well presented. A little annoying you have to take the towel from your room to use at the pool. Parking is an additonal charge."
