"Historic building, spacious room with all amenities, comfortable bed, and excellent breakfast. Very enjoyable stay."

"Our room had a very comfortable bed and pillows and the decor was calm and stylish. The bathroom was also very smart. There was a large mirror in the bedroom for me to do my make up but no plug socket nearby for the hairdryer or my hot brush. One strange thing was there was no light switch for the bathroom, the light seemed to come on automatically at times and also go off just as randomly leaving you in the complete dark! It also meant that we had to take the room key out of the main point by the door in order to stop the bathroom light from staying on through the night. This is a beautiful hotel, each public room very elegantly and differently styled and Wansford is a really pretty village."
