"The room was filthy...cobwebs...carpet pulled away from the base boards. Dirty THIN throw for a bedspread. People are staying long term and I did not feel safe. No elevator...to get to the second floor you have to climb a big staircase. The air-conditioner/heater was missing the top cover. Just junky!! Never again!"

"The staff was excellent and the room was clean and convenient. I didn’t realize when booking that it was in an industrial area. The pillows were awful (like rocks), however the room was adequate for overnight. If you want a nice, safe, easy on the budget hotel, this is a good selection. Again, exceptional staff and breakfast had a good variety."

"We checked in and headed to our room on the upper floor, but there was no elevator. The room was wide open and looked like someone had ransacked it. We returned to the front desk to request a new room, but the front desk clerk stated a different party’s name. As a result, we ended up in a different room on the first floor. The floors were sticky, reeked of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom was disgusting, should have worn shower shoes. It was a horrible place to stay if you value safety and cleanliness. I would give it zero stars."

"Staying at Hotel 43 was easy and fun. Our room was clean with a mini fridge, a keurig coffee maker and all the usual amenities. There is a parking garage attached to the Hotel. They also offer valet parking. Eating is easy. There is a wonderful restaurant attached to the hotel. The hotel is downtown and surrounded by restaurants and cafes and coffee bars. We were impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff."
