"Great location. Walking distance to everything in town including shops, restaurants, a small food market and coffee shops. Two story town home was nice with lots of living space. Liked balcony on 2nd floor. Our room was in the back of building which I recommend because of its quiet peaceful setting from the busyness of the street. Two bathrooms are a nice perk. Room was very clean. The landlord communicated well on the services available and expectations. They are also readily available online with any questions you have. Check out nearby Bass Lake Park for a beautiful 1 mile hike."

"A rustic little place in the middle of Blowing Rock. The room was a bit small but very clean. The bathroom especially could use a renovation. The location is excellent. It worked for us just fine for us but we did not spend much time in the room."
Boxwood Lodge

"The motel is clean and not too far from the downtown however we chose not to walk it due to busy road and rain. The room itself could use some side lamps next to the bed. Also they didn’t service our room during our two day stay. We tried to get fresh towels but office is manned only during certain hours. No very convenient. The motel is old school shower and shower head but water pressure was great."

"The hotel is modern and very clean. Within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the amenities were good. There was a small but nice balcony to sit on in the evening. The only negative was the clicking and banging and humming coming from the small refrigerator by the bed. It was not constant but did wake us up in the night. I would stay here again."
