The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. We stayed 4 nights at the Triglav Bled. We had a suite overlooking the lake; it is a most beautiful view. The hotel is a little way up the hillside so the walk up from the lake is quite steep. It is a very pleasant walk of about a mile round the lake to Bled. All of the staff at the hotel were excellent and made us most welcome. However, all this was forgotten when we received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown our first class room with views of the lake. Bled is overwhelmingly busy during the high season and it was delightful to retreat back Lukanc in the countryside to avoid the hordes people. We had amazing views of the mountains from our balcony.
