"Lovely couple hosts, always happy to help if needed. The spaces are clean, and the modern kitchen is available if you’d like to prepare a meal. The house has a back garden and safe off-street parking, and it was a quiet place to sleep. One small suggestion would be to update the bath towels. Fresh, good-sized towels make a big difference for comfort and give guests that extra feeling of care and quality during their stay. "This hotel is really stylish and clean. I stayed in a premium room for 3 with my two teenagers and it was nice and big and nicely decorated. It was a nice base for the three nights. The air con is great and the WiFi was brilliant. I have dropped a star because: • The location is not great, I didn't realise at the time of booking, but the north area is a bit dodgy. From reading on, they have a bit of a problem with drugs and illegal immigrants in the area, so much that the police have admitted that they can't police it. My recommendation is to get a cab to the hotel and not to use Brussels Nord for any journeys if you have children with you. • The staff I dealt with were a bit... Flat... I don't know how else to describe it. Also, one person said we would be charged city tax at the end of our stay, but then I noticed payments going on my card at 1/2pm every day. When I asked, they said it was city tax. Then, they tried to charge me again when I left! • The garden bar wasn't open, and the main bar was not a nice place to sit in the day, especially with children (clean and nice decor, but really dark) Another tip, the fridge is a bit useless, so don't expect to get cold drinks from it."
