The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! The only issue was parking, which was resolved by us going and asking the staff at the property where to park.

Positives - bar area lovely for a quiet drink, staff a pleasure to deal with , breakfast first class . Negatives- room was a bit small and had a socket behind bed which was not very safe, also roof leaked when it rained . ( did move rooms at 12am as felt not safe due to water dripping through light and moved clothes in morning) Was such a pity as otherwise would have been 10/10

Great time had by all

Arrived at 10.00 in the morning hoping just to leave our bags until check in, happily very friendly staff explained room was available and quickly checked us in. Very warm welcome from Vivian and proprietor very accommodating when requested breakfast for 2 other family members in different hotel. Bar very large and well presented and the staff here also went above and beyond, they even provided cutlery and cleared the packaging from takeaways we were welcome to eat in bar. Breakfast was buffet style and well cooked with plenty of choice. Bedroom was large with kingsize bed and nice balcony. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The weekend i stayed was exceptionally hot and clammy, air condition in the rooms, bar and restaurant would have been good, however we still enjoyed out stay, the staff were excellent and couldn't' do enough for us, I would definitely come back to the Stuart Hotel.😁

bang average!

Hotel looked nice from outside and the lounge/bar area was very nice. Staff were polite and helpful. We asked to change to a room with a balcony and this was done without any grumbles. However the room we were moved to felt as if it was on a slope and it was like we were lying upside down on the bed which resulted in us having to sleep at the bottom end of the bed. The toilet was matchbox sized and very run down which we were very surprised at as the original room we were in had a massive very new looking bathroom. My partner and I were overall very surprised with the rooms as they were not in the conditions in which the pictures led us to believe. We also experienced something that we were quite shocked at, when we arrived back one evening to find the second set of our room keys on the floor at the front door of the building where anyone could have picked them up and let themselves into our room where our personal belongings obviously were, staff couldn’t explain this at all. In all the hotel is pleasant enough but is definitely not at the standard the websites led us to believe.

Very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff but somewhat dated fittings in the room. Breakfast was fine except for the terrible sausages. Requests for decaff coffee, brown toast and plain yoghurt seemed to be regarded as mildly eccentric :-) A decent place to stay for a night or two, very handy for South Shore and the tram system. Very little on site parking but unrestricted street parking close by.

Great for a stay near the Pleasure Beach!

Great place with a friendly can-do attitude. The room was ideal with more than enough comfort items (TV, Kettle, en suite etc.) and the facilities (bar, dining area) were spacious, clean and well serviced.
