Very disappointing. Sub standard. Poor service
Extremely disappointed with my weekend away with my partner. The accommodation itself was really lovely; spacious, finished to a high speed specification and had a really good feel to it. Unfortunately we encountered many issues. The heat in the apartment was unbearable, it was only 19 degrees outside but the apartment had no air movement at all and the windows opened a very limited amount. When we asked the member of staff for a fan, she tutted at me; explained it’s our fault we didn’t bring one and supplied with me a phone number to call, she was rude, arrogant and ignorant. The mattress and bed frame were of extremely poor quality, both were sub standard and in need of replacing immediately, both me and my partner suffered a very bad back on both nights sleep and this impacted our stay massively. We found a mould dish cloth in the cupboard, this was quickly replaced for a clean one but isn’t something you expect when paying for a premium apartment. I reached out to Charles hope apartments about the above raised issues and there response was “thank you for your feedback” after a few more emails they offered me to change rooms and a late check out, unfortunately every room has the same issues in regards to temperature as well as sub standard mattresses and bed frames. I requested a partial refund for the sub standard quality and was refused harshly. My weekend away was tainted by the above issues and ultimately just how poor Charles hope apartments dealt with me. Avoid!!!!

After leaving accused me of causing a massive crack in the hob and are keeping the security deposit. I absolutely did not damage the hob and only used one ring once and the damage is in a completely different location with the image they sent showing a filthy hob. I'm not convinced the image is of the hob in my apartment. Also found an open condom wrapper under the bed as I was doing a final check before leaving. The stay wasn't actually that bad and the non Charles hope staff in the Lansdowne were friendly and good to deal with but are a complete separate entity.

Apartment itself is new, except when we move in, there’re still little hairs and debris around. At first the toilet is a bit stuck which even toilet paper can’t be flushed away. We fixed that ourselves. Eventually we know why - because Charles Hope insists to give you 2 rolls of toilet paper only before any cleaning, and it’s supposed to be once per week, it is very easy to run out of toilet paper. Then what will the people do? They use tissues which will stuck the toilet. I suggest Charles Hope to be more generous on toilet papers. Another thing is about the Klevio door lock system. They usually set a wrong checkout date. Whenever you change it, you need to tell the staff over whatsapp manually to change again, not to mention you need to upload all the stuff, install the app, setup accounts to simply get the door opened. And the stupidest thing is, once you get into the room, you get another smart card to open the building’s front door - why don’t you include them in the app in the first place? It’s like a treasure hunt game to checkin this apartment. All the automations should make it easier for your customers but not more time-consuming: either the app needs to be improved or the staff needs to be smarter. In contrast the staff in the reception is more helpful and kudos to her. It is just Charles Hope manage this apart hotel badly but the apartment itself is neat and great. If there’s thing to improve, you better put a manual here for the multifunction oven and the washer.

Apartment was very clean and spacious. Very comfortable stay in a great city centre location. Parking is subject to availability so couldn’t get any on site as it was a last minute booking

We’re delighted for the service they provided, they replied to every requests promptly. Provide additional support for early check in and can supported to extend our stay in short notice period. Will recommend to my friends. Moreover, the reception staff in the building and cleaning service staff also very helpful and polite!

The apartment was clean, lovely and modern and the check in experience was great. However, we found that communication was not great after checkin/ during our stay.

I had a great stay. Only downfall was no reception on my phone WiFi was a bit slow And heater didn’t work so was a bit cold Other than that brilliant stay! Amazing customer journey from staff from start to finish!
