This is the most amazing hotel. The staff are delightful, the welcome drink we chose was a very nice white wine from the local area. The hotel has a metro card ready for you to take to travel into the city. The pool was cool but the views amazing. The room was out of this world. His and hers showers. A sofa. A huge bed. Fabulous hotel for visiting the Guggenheim but also walkable to all areas of Bilbao. Breakfast is perfect, everything you could want and more. Ate in the restaurant one evening and the food is superb and good value for a 5* hotel restaurant. Finally the staff are all friendly and helpful. All together a great stay.

I received the usual warm welcome, plus the offer of a room upgrade, which I accepted. The service is always excellent and the servicing of the room also.

Excellent position, 10 minute walk to Guggenheim, 15 walk to old town, easy walks to tram and train station. Very helpful, friendly staff. Very good breakfast and bar food. Recommend

We had a junior suite with views over the river. It was everything we had wished for this short break. The hotel is in a really good location. The breakfast excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel right on the river - the perfect location. Easy walking to Casco Viejo and Abando, with the Guggenheim just minutes away. Our room was excellent, lovely and spacious for the 5 nights, with the comfiest beds. The hotel had a great bar with equally great food. Perfect for a nightcap or meal after a full day wandering the city. I would highly recommend and stay here again

Booked a basic room, which is ok for our night stop over. Always clean and very comfortable, with great views over the estuary. We have used this hotel twice a year for several years with no complaints. On our last trip we found slight damp in the corners of the wall behind the large window curtains. We were able to visit major places of interest very easily. e.g. Guggenheim Art Gallery,maritime museum and funicular railway. Cafes were a real treat for coffee and snacks. Location was only just over an hour away from Haro, the home to Rioja production. Well worth a visit.
