"Everything at the hotel except for a little bit of dust and cobwebs which let it down, I’m sure it was just overlooked on the day,the staff were very friendly and helpful, the position of the hotel was great in easy reach of everywhere, great place to explore the area. "Amazing venue, clean and tidy with friendly staff and good food choices. Breakfast was good, only complaint was that the mattresses felt budget which was a shame considering the rest of the room was lovely. Didn’t sleep so well because of mattress but this may just be our preferences, other than that a great stay."

"Really nice staff, very welcoming it’s looking a little tired now in communal areas and bathroom but lovely grounds to walk around. Unfortunately our evening meal came out cold and then came back microwaved after sending it back."

"Large room, with ok bed but thin walls. Pub is closed and hotel bar a bit dark and empty. For breakfast they had unbuttered bread under the eggs instead of buttered toast, which was odd. Overall a bit run down, but it is in a good location and there is parking."

"I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location."
