"This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. "This is great hotel rooms are huge and clean. The hotel offers activities to do while on the premises but if you want to leave to eat or shop there are plenty of things that are close."
"The place was obviously popular once but hasn't been looked after and is now forgotton by the owners It's full of old furniture that should have been thrown away and walking through reception the smell of mould was strong. My guess is that it was left during COVID and has never recovered. The staff espcially the cleaning and restaurant staff tried really hard to make me feel comfortable but it was largely empty and it felt sad and lonely. I had paid in advance and left a day early. I asked for a refund for the final day but was refused. "
