"The resort is well situated for enjoying the countryside and accessing the River and Jungle trips. The resort may be 5 start for Nepal, but I would actually give it a 3.5 on US. The staff are spectacular and provided lots of support when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row. Note that you are in the jungle and it was the end of the rainy season, but.... be ready for mold in your rooms and in the room air, in the furnishings. My daughter had asthma attacks non-stop. "I stayed a few nights here and had a great stay. First room wasn’t clean and no hot water, but the staff were quick to change it for me and I got a clean room. I ordered dinner with room service and it was delicious. The pool needs some cleaning so I didn’t go in. The hotel is in a suburban area with Nepali villas, but takes a tuk tuk or some walking to go into Bharatpur. All in all a good stay, but the price is a little to high for the state of the hotel"
