Very dated and worn. Furniture scuffed and carpets old and stained. Nice large room with semi-comfortable beds and a handy mini fridge and good shower. Location is great, right off the main shopping street and lots of options for food and sights too. Decent price.

Great location for central Berlin. Breakfast was great. Rooms were a little tired looking but on the whole spacious accommodation and everything worked.

Great hotel in great location!
Great hotel in an awesome location! The hotel is close to many upscale shops and tourist attractions. The room was smaller than others, but it was still comfortable for two people. They even let us have late checkout, which was an extra bonus! Overall a good experience.

Our stay in berlin
Hotel was very clean and in a great location .Staff were very friendly and helpful .Shops ,restraunts,bars very close .Brandenberg gate,checkpoint charlie,zoo etc all within easy reach by bus or train in fact we walked them took about 1hour.so all in all a nice hotel in a great location at a very reasonable price.Wouldnt put anybody staying at the kurfurst hotel

I was slightly confused on arrival as the hotel is only the top part of the building. In the dark how to get in wasn't obvious, but quick phone call solved that. Helpful staff and a decent room, though layout of floor was unusual. Breakfast was okay but could have done with a little more variety.

Two night stay
Liked this hotel and would stay again only problem was that it was 30 degrees and no air conditioning so a little uncomfortable in the room. They did put a small portable unit in the room that helped a little. Good breakfast. Landed at Tegel. on bus 109 route dropped us within 50 metres of hotel. Excellent location for visiting centre near U and S Bahn stations convenient for Waldbuhne.

Good location
It's what you should expect from a 3 star hotel at this price. The hotel is old and could do with a lick of paint but generally clean and tidy. Breakfast is fairly standard but adequate. The staff at reception were helpful and pleasant. The location however is very good for exploring with plenty of local busses and a nearby ubahn station.

The service was very helpfull and the location was close to the bus station and the shops. There is elevator but small one. The room was big and comforbale but the 2 sofa bed was uncomforbale we couldent sleep well and when we ask to put another mattres they didnt have.

Good location, with public transport very close by. The only real let down with this hotel, was the gentleman at the counter when we checked in didn’t even want to slightly help my husband when he asked for directions to a nearby landmark. The internet connection was also quite poor and barely worked for us during our stay, but this wasn’t a big issue. Other then this we loved our stay and we will be returning!

Great location Hotel for a 3 star budget
It was fairly OK. It is certainly very well located- just across the "Kodam"- very easy to get to anywhere in the city. Rooms are spacious & clean. Breakfast was also OK. Absolutely recommends for those that this is the right budget for them - do not expect to get more than 3 stars but you will definitely get that level. I didn't expected more - I received what I have paid for.

Beautiful, huge room! Only downside was that the internet didn't work for me in my room the first day, which was a pain since I needed it for work. So I ended up sitting in the lobby by reception, where it worked just fine. The second day had no problems though, so I am not sure if it's a regular thing. But everything else about this hotel was fantastic, including the location--so easy to get any and everywhere! I would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem
A very traditional German Pension. Fantastic location and excellent breakfast. A little dated but very clean and comfy and with real character rather than being in a room the same in every city ion the world. 5 min walk from S bhan and bus stops on the Kudam into Berlin. 15 min slow walk to Ka De We. Fab local bistros, recommend Café Bliebstrasse and the Tapas Bar. E mini supermarket two blocks along that sells lots of easy snacks and drinks to take with you as you explore.

good 3 start hotel in Berlin with great location.
Great location with a 10 minutes walk from the S bahn. Huge room, nice reception, bicycle rent/day, breakfast included, 3rd floor with a small elevator. Beds a bit old, bathroom nice and clean, Wifi was working daily passwords for each device. Reasonable price for all. Easy free parking around. Recommended for visiting Berlin with friends.

Adequate for overnight
Hotel has a lot of character. No lighting in stairwell on first couple of floors and staircase has narrow spiral steps. Use your phone flashlight if you return to hotel after dark so as not to fall. No A/C if that matters to you. Modest breakfast.

The Hotel is positioned in a beautiful part of Berlin and is only a short walk away from many shopping venues and restaurants. I found the Hotel itself to be an antique and had a very original vibe to it. The breakfast sufficed and can't complain. All in all my wife and I enjoyed our stay there.

Nice Stay but Rubbish Internet
Everything is fine except they have this rule that you must sign to use the Internet for each device (they say it is a government regulation, but it is not) and then it is for a limited time. When you do manage to get a connection the quality is very low.
