Grimm's Potsdamer Platz is located about .5 miles south of the much busier, commercial area of Potsdamer Platz itself. Grimm's is 5-7 minutes from two different U-Bahn stations that provide both North/South and East/West city transportation. The room was very clean and functional. With the windows closed noise is at a minimum. The staff is very friendly. The Wi-Fi works and is fast. A great value in a great location.

Great hotel, super friendly and helpful. Great bar for the end of the evening. Good location slightly off the beaten track but central enough to be able to walk to all the major attractions in a few minutes. Comfortable rooms, quiet, spotlessly clean and a lovely vibe

It was a nice and clean property. The staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. It was walkable to Potsdamer Platz (10 mins) and public transport (2 mins). There are good cafes nearby in the early morning. Also seems like it is in a residential area so it's quiet unless an ambulance or firetruck drives by with their alarms on as the property is by a semi-busy road. I would stay again.

Hot weather whilst there and cooling system in room is set to not go lower than a certain temperature. I’d have preferred better air conditioning system that the guest can control to their comfort.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Good food and excellent service. Lovely dining /drinks area inside and out. Excellent walkability and one block from U-Bahn. Enjoyed the “grimm’s” themed look. Very clean hotel. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Great location close to both Ubahn and Sbahn, pleasant area for a walk. Nice room, good bathroom with all necessary amenities and a great hairdryer . Very clean and neat. Nice restaurant with very good outside sitting area.

Great place-but NO laundry facility as stated.
Grimm's Potsdam is an easy 15 minute walk to the Brandonberg Gate and close to many historical sights. Clean, friendly, great breakfast and dinner. For family amenities it stated laundry facilities and that's why I chose Grimm's, so I could take less clothes and do a small wash. There was NO laundry facilities BUT I could send my laundry for them to do for a very high charge. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Cute, quirky fairy tale hotel
The good reviews are absolutely deserved! I looked at some 5* properties for this stay but I was drawn to the quirky charm and since the rates were so good, I booked the deluxe balcony suite which was very large, clean and comfortable with tons of windows and lovely views from the balcony. The staff was friendly and made every effort to be helpful. Most attractions are walkable but the U stop is just 2 minutes away. The parking garage next door is easy to use but the cash payment and credit card payment are two different machines in separate locations.I loved all of the fairy tale details.

Great hotel in a good location to experience Berlin. Nearest U Bahn station only 3 mins walk away. Modern hotel with good amenities. We never ate in the restaurant, but the food we seen looked good. Nice cocktails served at the bar and a nice atmosphere. Room was a little warm and air con didn’t seem to make much difference, we mentioned this to reception and they sent someone to look at it, but not a lot changed. Too noisy to be able to open the windows

I might have just got lucky with the room but it's the first hotel I've stayed in where I have NOT noticed noisy guests and NOT had to listen to their bathroom habits, slamming doors etc.

Great place - don't stay during warm weather.
The air conditioning wasn't working and the electrical box in the room kept ticking and making loud noises. I was st the front desk about 4 times about all these issues and everyone had different things to say but no action was taken. We even asked them for an extension cord and they said they would call us but they didn't. If they fix the air conditioning and the buzzing and if their staff knew how to act with such things, then I would say it warrants the 9/10. However, the fact of the matter is that I didn't sleep for 2/5 nights because of the heat and the loud buzzing and the staff being inconsistent and not acting. The only reasoning they gave for the air conditioning that it was new and tested and it's granite (?) so the room will be as cool as it will get.
