The Taj was outstanding in all regards, a wonderful experience. What I liked about the Taj:
Check in was excellent, fast and without being a loyalty member the front desk upgraded me to the club floor which was quite appreciated. Thank you Ashik for a five star check in experience.
The room was perfect, just everything in place, working and beautifully appointed. The amenities were first class and the window view of Terminal 1 was quite impressive. The soundproofing was excellent, no noise from inside or outside the room. Shower was great, bed super comfortable.
Room service was fast and with a smile. The food was fine, I ordered a couple of western type meals which could have been more dialed into the western style (such as what you would get with Hilton or Marriott) but were more of an Indian and awkward dish (such as the burger and club sandwich, weird but passable ) The pizza was perfect and as ordered, crispy and easy on the cheese.
The swimming pool was really well done considering it is at the airport location, surrounded with landscaping and several choices to sun and relax. The water was crisp and clean and the right temperature, a nice job on the pool.
The only issue I had was the airport transfer from Terminal 2. No signs or clear instructions either at the airport arrival area or on the website. It just was not clear and airport information did not have a clue how to get to the hotel for the most part. I did finally work it out. You get on inter-te
