" Very well built hotel, good aesthetics from the rooms to the hotels Good variety of restaurants to dine from Staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of Shout out to Rishi and Durgesh at the various restaurants Tisha and Yashesh at the Lux Cafe made us good cuppas Housekeeping was there twice a day, made sure you always came to a clean room. The spa is really good as well, masseuses who know what they’re doing. Only negative I would say that it’s far away, if you want to go to visit Port Louis it’ll take atleast 45 mins to an hour. "

"Staff members have been so friendly and kind. First class service. We stayed for four nights in a junior beach front room facing the sea. The room was excellent; sea view awesome; four swimming pools; fabulous entertainment every night. The cleaning team (Reagan) was so efficient and ensured that our room was cleaned every day. The staff at the Citronelle restaurant were also very kind and helpful. ( Sweetie, Nisha, Mr Saheye, the lady who did our poached eggs every day The chefs were so friendly ) they all ensured that our stay was fab. The buffet for dinner and breakfast was awesome. We also met the HR assistant manager Darren who gave us a warm welcome and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Memorable stay. We would like to visit again. Highly recommended. "

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Varanda palmer beach and would definitely return. Our room was a sea view ground floor room which had its own private sun lougers outside the room which we thought was a real plus. The food at the main restaurant was very nice and varied every meal time. Nightly entertainment was vaired too. The beach is beautiful and you can walk for miles in both directions. The only things we think could be improved are, to be served a drink promptly when arriving at the restaurant as somtimes we were left without a drink thought our meal. There seems to be a lack of sun loungers at the beach and they get reserved quickly in the mornings. "

"Our one week, all inclusive stay, was simple perfect. Great welcome by the team on arrival with fast check in to our lovely modern, bright and clean room. No TV in room as it's all about switching off from and that's exactly what we did. The property is only 2 years old so everything is just perfect, yet it looks well established. Choice of 2 beautiful pools with lots of loungers and day beds. There were organized sport activities and even complimentary glass bottom boat trips and snorkeling trips every day between 2pm and 3pm. Bars are great, wide choice of branded drinks. 2 themed restaurants which you had to book a day in advance which were fine (not amazing) and the main restaurant which was buffet style which was really excellent - great choice and variation of food each day. Best part of the hotel were the staff - everyone is every dept. could not do enough, amazing - very high level professional service. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, but please don't tell to many people - it's a gem."
