"Outstanding property. Very quiet admist nature with river flowing nearby. Room was big and clean, jaccuzi was great and the food was delicious. But what stood out was the customer service of the people who work there. In all my travel I have never experienced such a customer service anywhere. Especially Asalanka and Dimender. They were soft spoken, clearly explained everything and was willing to help with anything. The people who work there is what makes the difference and is definitely a highlight of my Srilanka trip. Definitely Recommended 5 stars. "

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink—a much-needed treat after enduring an eight-hour car journey to reach the hotel. The reception staff, in particular, left a lasting impression with their exceptional service and friendly demeanour as they guided us to our suite on the second floor. The following morning, we eagerly made our way to breakfast, and we were met with an experience beyond compare. The service we received was unparalleled, with a wide array of offerings ranging from sandwiches and traditional Tamil breakfast items to fragrant rice and flavorful curries. Each dish tasted as if it were prepared with care and attention, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. However, what truly made our breakfast experience memorable was the outstanding service provided by Janith and Praveen. Among them, Praveen stood out as a beacon of hospitality, going above and beyond to accommodate our every request and ensuring that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. His attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our satisfaction made him a favorite among our family, leaving a lasting impression that enhanced our overall enjoyment of our time at the hotel."

"We had a very enjoyable and comfortable two days stay. No complaints. Our room was nice and spacious, with a bay window and seating area. You do need to be a bit agile to climb out of the shower, which is over a bath with high sides. We tried several of the restaurants and the cafe. All were good. Service can be a bit patchy, but really, who cares when you are in such lovely premises with outstanding garden areas. We were very pleased to have chosen to spend two nights here; one night is not enough to fully appreciate what is on offer. "

"Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Norwood Bungalow. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and full of amenities. The meals were delicious. There were a variety of choices. The staff here were lovely and helpful. They made our stay welcoming. The tea trails around the bungalow offered amazing view of the tea estate. They were easy walks and worthwhile. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Sri Lanka, we recommend staying here."
