"Booked a โbest estuaryโ view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer."

"Probably my favourite inn I've ever stayed in. The room was perfect, thoughtful touches everywhere, the location right on the edge of the town centre was excellent, everything the town had to offer was less than a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was 5*.
No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again."

One of the prettiest views anywhere in England from the balcony overlooking the estuary. Rooms are well decorated, spacious and have free gin. Whatโs not to like?

Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

The room was very comfortable, the staff were excellent. We loved the ambience and the food
There was nothing we disliked except the proximity of the village church which insisted on striking every quarter hour day and night. It was an unusually warm night in October so we had the window open so I would advise using earplugs if the window is open.

Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated.
Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors!
The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Free WiFi, bottled water, tv, tea & coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and USB plug points besides the bed are included.

We chose this hotel as it was in the centre of lovely golf course far away from the hustle and bustle of a noisy seaside town.It was ideally situated enabling us to visit Datmouth,Torquay,Paington and many other places of interest.
It was then nice to return to the hotel to use the leisure facilities and then enjoy a nice evening meal.

Brilliant attention to detail !! The owners treated us like old friends, and as it was or 34 wedding anniversary they had laid on various presents and extras. Thoroughly recommend.

The whole hotel is only around a year old and everything still seems like it's brand new. The breakfast was superb, the room was really nice and there's excellent on site parking in the two level underground carpark too.
Will definitely be going back - Thanks.

We booked a last minute one night stay. I felt slightly nervous after reading some reviews but there was no need to be. From the moment we booked until leaving the staff couldnt be more helpful. From making sure we got booked into the spa to allowing us to use the spa changing rooms for the outside pool ater checking out. We even had drinks delivered to us whilst in the hot tub. We were on the first floor and had a lovely view over the pool and harbour. We couldn't have been more pleased and...
