Perfect woodland hideaway

What a wonderful woodland hideaway! Our cabin wasich more spacious than expected and had all the home comforts we could have wished for, whilst still retaining the feel of a secret woodland den! Thank you to Sean for the very warm welcome, we felt very much appreciated and will definitely return!

The perfect trip.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, perfect hosts. The cabin/lodge was perfect, warm and cosy. We used the BBQ hut on our first night which had a little patio outside with chairs to relax while the food was cooking away. Easily the best place I’ve stayed, and will definitely be back as soon as we can.

Gem of a place

We had an amazing weekend at a fantastic location! We stayed in Owl Lodge, which was lovely, spotless and featured many beautiful details in the decoration. Our stay was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Sean was a wonderfully welcoming host. Highly recommend spending a couple of hours in the BBQ hut as well. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this place more!

Peace and tranquility

What a really amazing place! Such a beautiful location and environment in the woods overlooking open ground and land. Amongst the trees with birds singing and very peaceful. We particularly loved the bbq hut! Everything was done beautifully in both the lodge and bbq hut, with lovely touches throughout.

We had the most fantastic 3 night stay in the Pheasant hut for my fiancés birthday. The little extra touches were massively appreciated and we'd absolutely recommend the BBQ hut. I was a little nervous staying in January but the huts were warm and cosy. Huge shout out to Sean who was the perfect host - Excellent communication, great local recommendations and went above and beyond to help us when we were snowed in on the morning of check out. It was the perfect getaway to recharge before starting the new year.

Excellent location, set back from any main roads. Extremely peaceful but exactly what you need for a weekend away. Pond outside of the cabin made it gorgeous for a lovely drink in the morning to start the day. Scott was a fantastic host and extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

Just Wonderful

I'm so glad I found this gorgeous place to stay whilst on a business trip. The cabins are beautiful and the little touches just make it so wonderful. I cannot fault High Parks - the whole experience was fantastic and I will certainly be booking again. Amazing and friendly service. Also there's nothing like looking out of the window of your accommodation and seeing rabbits, pheasants, squirrels, free range chickens and a barn owl. Just gorgeous. Highly recommend a trip to High Parks.

the pictures do not do these little houses half as much justice they were wow apsalutley amazeing i travel alot and i have never come across somethink so beautiful , bed is so comfy , showers amazeing , the coffee machine etc amazeing , signal phone an wifi amazeing , chairs extra comfy , bbq outside amazeing done a nice bbq , camp fire is so peaceful , lil cabin were you can cook was wow !! owners sean and scott lovley humans , have the most beautiful ponies ever dicki and lily was allowed to go in and watch feed ❤️❤️ deffo reccomend and will be back thanks x

Lovely cosy stay

Perfect getaway.

We chose High Parks for a short stay to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We could not have picked a more perfect place! It is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and also comes with perfect hosting. The only complaint we have is that we were unable to stay longer! Definitely be back.

Highly recommended.

Me and my Girlfriend had a couple of nights away here and we both enjoyed every minute of our break. From the friendly personal welcome from Sean and his wife to the delicious breakfast. The weather wasn't at it's best, but it didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay. The lodge was superb, very spacious and comfortable in beautiful surroundings. We both cant recommend a break here enough and we will definitely be back .

Cabin in the woods

Unusual but very comfortable stay amongst trees in North Yorkshire. Very helpful and thoughtful staff to make the stay pleasant including a nice bottle of wine. Breakfasts were to die for. Yorkshire ham and eggs was delicious.
