"Fantastic Manor House converted to a great boutique hotel.
I especially liked the dinner, wine and service. Breakfast was pretty extensive, with plenty for every taste. The bar has a terrace overlooking enormous ancient cedar trees and a golf course. Pretty damn good hotel."

In addition you will be hosted by Christian, very kind and gently owner that will tell nice histories about the castle. "We stayed here for an overnight stop during a long trip. The location is excellent, conveniently close to stores and restaurants, and parking was hassle-free. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and made both check-in and check-out quick and easy. The room was comfortable and provided a good rest after a long day of travel.
However, the hotel could benefit from some maintenance, and the breakfast offering could be improved in both variety and quality."

The staff we're very helpful and were very happy to keep my son's medication in their fridge for us.

"The blind didn't close properly and the room was hot, having been in the sun. We were grateful for the fan that was supplied.
The beds were comfortable enough but we were disturbed by other guests outside.
There's no overhead light and so the room was quite dark with just a light over the desk and bed.
The shower was refreshing."
"Overnight stop on way to South coast. Great location for access to Futuroscope which is about a 15 min walk. Plenty of parking although not a great deal of shade.
Check in very efficient. Room very clean with nice toiletries.
