We had a wonderful time, staying for four nights. We arrived to check in and were greeted so warmly that we instantly felt at home. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The complementary breakfast was very good and given that the hotel was super busy, it was a thing of wonder that the kitchen and serving staff were able to keep all the options topped up and the tables quickly cleared and cleaned and ready for the next breakfasters! We found it to be quite a jolly affair. Our room was internal facing so no view but super quiet. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable, although some extra drawers would have been useful to unpack a few more things from suitcases. The hotel is in a good location and everywhere was easy to walk. It was also easy to walk to and from the bus and train stations - it's possible to visit the city of Wells by bus if you don't have a car. All in all, a very enjoyable stay that exceeded our expectations.

Loved our stay! I stayed with a friend and the location for the hotel is awesome. Close to the train station and only a 10-15 minute walk to anywhere in the city center. Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We especially loved the variety of foods from the buffet breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at this hotel! Staff was very helpful and the hotel was always clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast gets pretty busy but it had a good variety of foods. Would stay here again!

The hotel was very convenient for a night away with friends. Walking distance from the station and from the main attractions in Bath. Staff very helpful. We were able to leave our bags before and after our stay.

Great hotel, very clean, nice quiet rooms and despite being in the city centre you couldn’t hear any traffic noise. Breakfast choices were good (weirdly no bacon). Very enjoyable stay, would recommend!

Really nice hotel. Easy to find and maneuver. Staff incredibly kind and welcoming. Held my bags for a few hours after check-out until I needed to catch my train. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Spacious room and very nice amenities in the room. Recommended and would stay again.

very nice hotel, well positioned, 1 lift out of action both nights of stay, breakfast time extremely busy and in reception area with guests checking in and out with guests moving backwards and forwards with food. Breakfast was ok but limited, no bacon, scrambled eggs only no tomatoes just baked beans. 2 waffle makers for guest to use, busy messy ( unnecessary).

Breakfast was disorganised chaos. I would expect it to be busy but I would expect the busy-ness to be well managed. It wasn't. There was no management. It was chaos and ridiculously stressful!

The property its self was nice and location was perfect. The room was clean however bed and pillows uncomfortable. We heard running water a few times throughout the night. Between Expedia and the hotel there were a few items that went wrong. Probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed 1 night in room 527 after seeing a show at The Forum (Brian Cox, brilliant show, BTW) Nice hotel in great location, easy walk to the Forum and Southgate shopping. Nice spacious room, clean, really comfy bed, great shower, and nice to have breakfast included. Only problem was the extractor fan in the bathroom stayed on all night, it was quite noisy and disturbed my sleep. I did mention it on check out and was told it should go off automatically after bathroom light is turned off. Wasn't offered any compensation. Apart from that hotel was quiet. Will stay here again, as its such a good location, only hope a different room the extractor fan will work properly.
