"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "The facilities at the Hard Rock hotel were amazing, we stayed in the Gold Villa with a private pool, which lead to the ocean. Calm seas. The choices and quality of the restaurants was very good. We particularly loved the beach club in the Marina, which had a swim up bar and poolside restaurant. "
