"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "We stayed in platinum overwater with pool. This is one of the best places we have visited. The staff were welcoming. We would like to thank Johnny, buggy driver, he was awesome. The all inclusive options were great. We liked the different dining options. We liked the Hard Rock Cafe for entertainment. Loved Miss Olive Oyl for the food and the view. The staff was great. Bikes are available free of charge and the snorkeling gear. We saw stingrays, black tip sharks (small ones) and different types of fish around the water by our room. They even had cake and nonalcoholic bubly for our early anniversary. I would go back again. "
