"Stay here a lot for my spouses visits to BJH. So easy for hospital stays, AppleBees is great to have and is attached to hotel. Always nice, clean and comfortable."

DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis Forest Park
10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful updated room. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Customer service was good. The lobby is starting to show its age and could use some sprucing up. Very convenient location right next to the hospital"
"The Moonrise is a nice enough hotel to stay at with some unique features, such as the man made moon replica and the light up staircase. Other than that, though, it is pretty average. It is also geared more toward adults than families so if you have young kids, bear that in mind. Beds were fine, although one mattress in our Executive Queen is about due for replacement judging by the dips, and the room was large, nicely furnished, and cleaned when we arrived. The internet went out for almost a full 24 hours with no explanation and that means no tv in this hotel since they don't use an antenna. Not a huge deal but I like background noise while I get ready for the day, and as I drift off to sleep.
All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the location means I will likely stay here again when I visit family - but I will look for a better room rate than I got this time if possible."
"Front desk was friendly and professional without being stuffy. Even as we walked to our room, staff took the time to greet us. The pool was a nice, refreshing time for the kids. I LOVED the free snack and drink offered at 5:30. All three kids had a plate of nachos and decided it was enough for their supper meal. Our fire alarm started chirping and contacted the front desk. They immediately attended to it and apologized for the aggravation. The evening was very quiet and uneventful. Breakfast buffet had enough choices to meet my diabetic needs, and even vegan needs. Impressed with the absolute cleanliness, friendliness, and quietness. The only thing I found lacking was my mattress was too soft. But that is personal choice so not to upset over it!"
