"the only thing I don't like about staying here is there is too much light in the rooms at night - the louvre blinds let too much ambient light in when you are trying to sleep. Apart from that the facilities are very good and have some of the best bathrooms I have come across"

"I’m very disappointed I stayed at this hotel. The location and facilities are decent but the rooms are small. What’s most disappointing is the service of the hotel staff. Instead of going out of their way to please the guests, they are very indifferent. I would never stay at a holiday inn again."

"Lovely place to stay, right near the centre of Arrowtown. Very well maintained and beautifully clean. The one small thing with my room was a light from behind shone directly through the bathroom window and onto the bed. This was solved by closing the bathroom door, however I don’t like sleeping with doors closed. Would highly recommend Shades of Arrowtown"
