Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant attached to it and good food. Very quiet at night time and the rooms are as new. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and super friendly. Fridge was small. No microwave. Stayed at 135$ room in Ashburton, 165$ room in Greymouth, both had larger fridges, Greymouth one had microwave. Wanted to warm up Pizza, had to eat it cold. Other than that, stay was good. The shower was fantastic! Loved the air conditioning.

Map of how to get too room is confusing, old manual keys to get in to Hallways then doors all the way down the long hallways to find room. Rooms noisy, could hear other doors being slammed closed quite often. The place seems to be in need of a refurb. I asked where the laundry was, and lady said oh sorry we don’t have laundry any more, so I said well you need to update your ad because we planned our trip around needing to do Laundry at this place, and I see they still haven’t updated their ad. The Pub/Bar restaurant was fantastic!
