No frills and no food but comfortable
The room was comfortable and clean. Good shower, kettle and small fridge. The location was quiet and very easy for Sutthisan MRT.

Perfect place for short term
The place is clean and comfortable, i use before another hotel just on the side of this but lately has become the worst hotel in Bangkok, so i give this a try and from now on i would use this, if you have to stay just one night in Bangkok, this is a perfect Hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. This time I stayed there 15 days. Overall was good, staffs were nice. room was clean, easy to take MRT. It was convenience during my medical treatment.

A very good value, located to a very hand traditional market and most convenient subway station. Our Thai daughter-in-law selected the place for very good reason.

not very convenient as the many cab driver don’t know where the place locate although gps is on , waste time and effort when u are ald tired .. but anyway hotel do provide tuk tuk services sending guest to mrt station just have to wait for queue.. btw , there’s no hotel slipper / toothbrush provide from hotel .

Great for short stays
The staff are very friendly and helpful (of course you'd have to be nice too). My room was basic but clean and very decent. Walls are super thin - I could hear my neighbour's playing music on his/her mobile phone. Walkable distance to Sutthisan station. Price is right. And they are responsive too. Many thanks to them.

The hotel condition was OK for the price paid. However service from the staff were poor. They could only give one key card for some reason. Refused to issue an additional second one. Then refused to give me a receipt for the hotel stay. Saying in a bad attitude that if I wanted one, I had to wait for more than 10 minutes. Also did not get a receipt for the late-checkout fee of 200 baht. Assuming the staff would want to pocket the cash. Very poor attitude and will never return again.

Worth the price, less the location of it.
It was considered clean with relatively good services. Only problem was the location of the hotel itself. Even local taxi drivers dont really know about this hotel.

Cheap and comfortable hotel.
If you're on a budget, this is the hotel to go to. Look no further. It has buggy service that sends you to the nearby BTS station. It has cheap and delicious food you can order for room service (only pay extra 10 baht for service charge). The hotel room may not have everything you WANT but it definitely have what you NEED. The hotel is really amazing and guest friendly. As a visitor as long as you abide by hotel rules and respect the staff you will be received warmly by them. Only setback for me was probably when i had to wait for about 30 mins to check in due to some server error. BUT it is understandable. They are a small hotel offering cheap accomodation therefore one can only expect what they paid their money's worth. Other than that, the staff are really friendly and its definitely a hotel i will return to if i were to re-visit Bangkok again.

Clean, Basic and Cheap Hotel
The Diamond Ratchada hotel is a nice eventhough basic hotel. It is clean and well kept. The location is a little bit remote, but when going out you can use the hotel's tuk-tuk to get near the underground station. I recommend taking a taxi or tuk-tuk when returning to the hotel in the evening (don't forget to keep the hotel's business card in the pocket). The price is very affordable.

Need to improve the service standard
Had a hard time asking for extra pillow. I need to beg for it. When checked in, there is no hangers and the safe was locked. Had to request again for them to get these items in place. The room has some 'chemical' smell. Not sure if they sprayed insecticides. The walk to the hotel through the alley can be quite scary at night. At 9pm, the rubber truck will be there to clear the rubbish and you have to endure the smell. I hope the staff can improve their service.

Adequate for business trip.
It was a business trip so I reallly just needed a bed near my customers office and the hotel was right by there. However trying to get to other parts of Bangkok were hard with the traffic.

Everything essential is there, only thing is there isnt a choice to get a smoking room or non smoking room, all rooms are non smoking, so if ure a smoker u have to go to the ground floor to smoke. other than that i dun get why the deposit had increase as paying 1k baht as deposit for 2 nights stay here is a bit stupid

Can't smoke in room and air con spoil and change to no bathtub room .Hotel going to place pratunum city area far and hotel sutter service only till 12am so walk back far and dark place no light and quiet. Sutter service come fetch back hotel wait long so we keep need walk back hotel after shopping tired . Then last day check out getting back deposit 200B the receptionist guy ask staff to check room that we smk and stole thing make us feel bad ..or they are checking we left anything we dunno. Cos before staying here we stay a night at pratunum due to something last minute booking is a 5stars hotel that can't smoke too if not fine 3000B but they did not check room . Well hope next time if book again the service will be better and think how people feel and know they are smoker please try give a smoking room it is troublesome for smoker that cannot smoke in room have to walk up and down when they want smoke and can't relax after whole day of shopping and tired and walking back hotel and after meals can't smoking. Room book have bathtub mean have can't if thing spoil then change us to no bathtub room and smaller room should change as same yes is cheap booking but hotel must have service standard if not people will recommend the hotel? This place can stay only if you want sleep, going catuchak market only and willing to walk far back to hotel cos hotel sutter service wait long. City area very far. Cos hotel sutter service end 12am can't go night market late if not walk back.

Unreasonable Room Service Charges
The price of hotel is reasonable given the location and facilities. We stayed in a family suit room for five nights.However, we have an unpleasant experience the last night there. Our two daughters, aged 7 and 9, suffered food poisoning and threw out massively in the room. When we asked for room service to change bed sheet and clean the room, there was no mention that we would be charged for the service. The next morning at about 4am before we left the hotel for airport, only we were told that the service charge for the room service was 400 Bath (about US$12). We are not sure if it's the industry practice to charge a fee for room service under such circumstance? Nevertheless, industry practice or not, we really feel the hotel is rubbing salt into our wound (imagine you child is sick and requires help).

Close to the MRT station and they also included a free shuttle there. If you want a place with WI-FI don't stay here, the wifi is super SLOW and you have to reconnect every single time. I was also charged 200 baht when I checked out because one of the towels had a little foundation makeup on, which I felt that can be easily removed if you wash it. It was cheaper to buy them a new towel then paying 200 baht, if I ever go back to Bangkok I will most definitely not stay here, too far from the tourist areas.

Nice place to stay, low price.
Good stay overall. Directions in Thia to the hotel from the airport would of helped as the taxi driver couldn't read English. The hotel is off of the main streets and isn't well known. The staff were welcoming and cheerful but English only spoken by a few of the staff. Wi-Fi was good in the lobby but in the rooms it was slow and patchy and at times was non existant.
