"We enjoyed a very nice five day stay. The ground floor of the hotel is very Manor House style. It is cosy with areas to relax in with comfortable furniture. It has a good dining room and also a separate bar, the Oak Bar, where you can enjoy a drink and a lighter meal. The gardens are attractive and there is ample parking space. We particularly enjoyed the cold and hot breakfast options available. Our standard room was a decent size and the bathroom was larger than normal with a separate bath and shower. We did not use the spa facilities. It is conveniently located just outside Cirencester and is approximately a 20 minute walk into town. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were in the area."

"Good location and surrounding. The botel is lovely with a great view across the lake. The only downside is the heat in the room, with no air con and a fan who wasn't powerful enough to circulate the air which made a poor night of sleep. Breakfast was good, love the choices."

"The Garden wing is uninspiring upon arrival but inside is first class for quality and cleanliness. Room and en suite nicely furnished and laid out. Not a big room so, with the extremely high temperatures during our stay, became very warm. No aircon but a fan was already in situ. The main building was lovely and cool with doors open for through draughts and aircon in the restaurant. The grounds were excellent for walking and the gardens have great potential. Good quality food. Service good throughout - especially considering a wedding celebration was being hosted. Disappointed that disabled bays were occupied by a works van and two cars - none of which were displaying blue badges. Shouldn't be difficult to monitor as car reg is input on arrival."

"First of all i would like to say that the bedding was ruined on 2 singles.. Stained disgusting took photo.. Had someone to change the bedding .. None of us could sleep at night we were told then it was where the pipes were on & off all night .. Stayed here 3 times i don’t think i will be coming back .. Another hotel would have put us in another room .. The bedroom was really big .. It would be nice to have some sort of a discount .."

"Always live the diner, but cannot say the same for the tvs - they rarely respond to their remotes and this time a member of staff have to come and power off the wall switch (you can’t risk it yourself in case the tv crashes to the floor)."
