The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore

10/10 Excellent
"We came to Baltimore for a concert at M&T Bank Stadium, and this hotel was in a great location! The stadium was only about a 20 minute walk away, which was super convenient. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the city and the water. We also really appreciated the parking situation. There’s a parking garage just around the corner that costs $24 + tax per night. You just need to provide your license plate number when you check in. Once parked, there’s a door from the garage area where you can enter the hotel using your room key, which made things really easy. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Baltimore!"

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown by IHG

Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"Everything was excellent, and I had a great overall experience. My only concern was with the valet parking service. I am allergic to nicotine, and when my car was returned, there was a strong cigarette smell inside, particularly around the driver’s seat. It appeared that the driver may have been smoking before or while handling my vehicle. I had to pull over afterward and sanitize my car because the smell and secondhand smoke were irritating. I would recommend that valet drivers who smoke change their clothing or otherwise sanitize themselves and the driver’s seat before entering or returning a guest’s vehicle. Overall, the experience was excellent, and this was my only complaint. I hope this feedback can help improve the valet service for guests who may have similar sensitivities."

A historic hotel gives guests an opportunity to stay in a building recognised with an official historic designation. These types of hotels in Baltimore typically preserve original characteristics like traditional architecture and period features in their public spaces or guestrooms.

The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., while you'll often hear "heritage hotel" in Asia and Europe.
