"Stayed here for a few days in one of the dog friendly rooms. We had our two dogs with us and the hotel is very dog friendly, while still making sure anyone who may not be so keen on dogs are not impacted by the dogs staying there. There was a separate area for breakfast and a separate part of the restaurant for dog owners with plenty of room to relax. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a combination of buffett style (for the cereal, fruit etc.) and served to your table (the hot food) and was good quality. We also found the food in the restaurant to be good and ate there 2 out of the 3 nights. Car parking is ample and convenient to the rooms and the hotel is in a good location on the Portstewart side of Portrush. We always found most parts of England to be very dog friendly and it’s good to see hotels in Northern Ireland starting to cater to the market. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"Myself and 2 work colleagues stayed for 3 nights. We had to leave before breakfast officially started, however the hotel organised and early breakfast for us and even prepared an excellent packed lunch to take to work. On the subject of food, the chef genuinely took time to ensure the food came out in good time and freshly cooked. The menu was just the right size and the food was amazing w"

Portrush Atlantic Hotel

8/10 Good
"Ottima sistemazione a pochi km dalle Giant's Causeway.

Roe Valley Resort

8/10 Good
"Check in quick and easy. Parking was busy but always found a space. Room was clean and functional, cleaned daily although often not until well into the afternoon. The safe was not working when we arrived but was fixed almost immediately on notifying reception. The food, both breakfast and evening meals, was very good quality with lots of choice. The gym was out of operation which we were not aware of before arrival - there was no indication of when it would reopen. The swimming pool has 2 water slides, only one of which was working during our 6 night stay, and that one was temporarily closed on and off all day for lifeguard breaks. Changing rooms were clean. Be aware that the 'spa', being the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, are all in the very busy main pool area . The jacuzzi was frequently taken over by groups of small children despite the 16+ rule (although I think a slighter younger age restriction such as 12+ would have been fine). We used the golf driving range - free loan of clubs and you just pay for the basket of balls. A good activity for those travelling with older children, even beginners. Staff were all courteous and eager to help. I would recommend this hotel for families with children primarily. It is well located for exploring the surrounding area and is very child friendly."
