"Highly recommend Pensione Sorriso for a stay in Vernazza. Evelyn was a wonderful host and went beyond expectations in helping us enjoy our stay. The hotel has a bright breakfast area/lobby and a nice patio/garden to enjoy. We stayed in a room with a private bath and balcony. Although no sea view from the rooms, there is one from the patio and the sea is only a two or three minute walk from the hotel."

"Perfect location for visiting cinque terre, 5 mins walk to the station and 5 mins walk to the main town of spezia. Friendly staff and helpful reception. Only snag is the breakfast, 1st was excellent but 2nd and 3rd deteriorated. Not sure if you just need to be early to get the good stuff or something."

"Il BoMa is perfectly located half-way down the hill from the entrance to the Riomaggiore pedestrian district and the marina. Our hostess gave us all the information we needed to make our stay lovely, from things to do to places to eat. Her recommendations were spot on! The room was very clean and big enough for two, though not spacious; bathroom was the best we’ve had in Italy, with space and a great shower. While we knew that there would be no breakfast, Coffee, tea, and lemoncello were provided, with some store-bought pastries if you didn’t want to purchase the wonderful offerings just outside the door. We recommend this little gem - of a town and a hotel - if you go to Cinque Terre! "
