"It was a lovely view as we took the best room available. There are slightly smaller rooms also . The real challenge is that they do not speak english but the owner tried his best to help with booking taxis . However I would not recommend this hotel for Older people as climb up the stairs it tough though there is a slightly longer path if you take the route through the Jiufen visitor centre . It has a very nice cozy homely feeling and I would like to come back for sure . The breakfast at an addititional charge is highly recommended. Please remember not to carry heacy suitcases as recommended by the Hotel themselves in checking instructions . "

"There are only 3 sockets. One is used for the fridge and the other for the TV. To charge your phone or whatever else you might need another socket for, tough luck. My wife said the tissue paper wasn’t great, I thought it was fine. Hotel receptionists aren’t friendly or helpful. One told my wife to Google what she wanted to know. The place is old, but for the price we can’t complain. Very convenient location and was fine for my wife and kids. "

"It was pretty nice accommodations, there's just no parking, you have to pay down the street for overnight parking, then walk to the hotel. Room had an odor, but staff was awesome, breakfast had some of the better options on our road trip around the island, being from the US, breakfasts are quite interesting from what we're used to..."
