"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

APA Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower
10/10 Excellent
"It is surrounded with tons of stores around. We enjoyed the restaurant at the ground floor. The cleanliness of the building is phenomenol. One of the busiest street but the experience was amazing. The waiting time for elevator is an opportunity, wish there is a stair to use as alternative. "
"Great location and great facilities, rooms are a little small but that’s expected in Japan. Only downside is the toppers on the beds kept sliding off! Besides that, we had a great stay. "
"I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Takadanobaba Station, which connects to the JR Yamanote, Seibu Shinjuku, and Tozai Lines. This makes it easy to get around Tokyo, whether you're headed to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, or other popular spots.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with rooms that are surprisingly spacious for the price. I appreciate that you can adjust the AC to your liking, and the fridge in the room is a nice touch. There are also laundry facilities on-site, which is always a bonus. The bathroom is a good size, and there’s a solid range of amenities, plus breakfast options available if you’re in a rush.
The staff is friendly, and the self check-in kiosks make the check-in process super easy. As for the neighborhood, it’s ideal—you're close to shopping (like Don Quijote) and lots of dining options. It's centrally located in North Shinjuku, so getting to places like Shinjuku and Ikebukuro is a breeze.
It’s affordable, good value for money, and not overly crowded, making it the perfect home base for my Tokyo trips."
"Amazing stay!!! Unfortunately the Godzilla head was under construction which was a bummer but I loved staying here and if I’m back in Japan I’m coming back here! Rooms were small but very functional and comfortable! "
"Everything was great... only down side is when they do the room cleaning every 3 days (which I love) but the times they get to your room is between 8am to 2pm... it varies day by day (makes sense on how busy they are) but the maids wont clean the room while you are in there (which kinnda sucks)"
