Lovely garden setting a 20 minute walk from Ponta Delgado centre. Full of character and a real antidote to business / tour group hotels. Great staff and swimming pool was perfect for relaxing. Unheard but warm in September.

Lovely, charming small hotel in the middle of the old quarter of Ponta Delgado just a short walk to restaurants. Friendly and helpful owners and staff.

Our room (number 8) was perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, and as we had an early flight at the end of our stay, a tasty picnic breakfast was left for us for our 6 am departure. The staff were all attentive and helpful, especially Lisja, who greeted us warmly for every breakfast.

A well-designed, well-equiped and comfortable studio appartment. A friendly and well-organised team run the property with great attention to detail. The breakfasts are great and the location is ideal for the local bars and restaurants. I can wholeheartedly recommend Casa da Galeria!

Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable.

The conceirge saw us before we saw the entrance and helped us with free parking and made us feel very welcome. He also gave us a map with a brief over view of what to do on the island. The room was clean and bed very comfy and super sized. The hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast for us was included and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fresh with lots of offer. The beach and town center were so close we popped in and out all the time. I would highly recommend.

This hotel was an absolute gem! Centrally located with fantastic access to the old town and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The facilities were amazing, with the pool right on our doorstep — perfect for cooling down and relaxing in the evenings. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic selection from the buffet as well as freshly cooked options available on request. What a fantastic hotel. Situated in the heart of the city making it easy to navigate. Pedro and his staff cannot be more helpful, always with a smile and genuinely interested in making sure you get the most from your stay. The breakfast was wonderful, I cannot tell you much about the selection as on the 1st morning I had the Eggs Benedict, then the second day etc etc, that's how good they were. Tucked away in a quiet spot overlooking the ocean, this is a great place to unwind and a good base for seeing the sights of the western side of Sao Miguel. Great food options and the outdoor area with infinity pool set among the trees is really beautiful.

The hotel is amongst the best we've stayed in. The room is comfortable with great views over the gardens. The food is good, but what makes the hotel outstanding is the service from the staff. They are very friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smile. The hotel has a unique thermal pool with a constant 35-40oC temperature. From the minute we entered the hotel we were impressed. Staff at reception were amazing.we were taken up to our suite by Paulo he explained everything about the suite how stuff worked, told us about the bars in the hotel he was fantastic. If you can treat yourself to a suite as they are simply amazing. There was nothing we could fault about our stay at this hotel.
