Stayed for a week here with my sister and the hotel staff were all so friendly and professional. We had a great experience. We ordered a lot of room service and the food was pretty good for a good price. The spa, swimming pool and sun deck was amazing as well. The only thing is that wifi was not strong enough to connect any other video calls except for Skype (on VPN, no FaceTime or Snapchat). I was very content with my choice regarding my booking at The Secure Inn. Situated within walking distance from the Azaiba bus station for onwards travel to Salalah for example, or indeed a 1.50R taxi journey, this hotel was calm, clean and pleasant overall. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and it would seem that there are two restaurants and a foyer coffee shop on hand, which was an added bonus. Always a pleasure to stay at the Savoy Grand in Muscat. It is not grand, but everything works --- AC, fridge and hot water --- the beds are comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful. Only 10-15 mins drive from the airport, there is also a city bus from the airport almost to the hotel door. The Bamboo restaurant next door serves an excellent variety of food, and there's a good supermarket 5 mins up the road.
