We arrived early on a wet day and the staff were great! It was to early to check in but they dropped us at a dry café, gave us umbrellas and a phone for later. Once we could check in we got welcomed at reception with a drink and snack then shown to our room. We had the Naruto room which was absolutely amazing! You need to have a car but otherwise, this hotel was a good base to travel to and from Tokushima, take a boat trip to the Naruto whirlpools and visit local beaches. The lack of onsite restaurant and a common area to cook and eat in made for a relaxed feel which was a pleasant change from other more hectic hotels we had stayed in before this one. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and had all the information we needed about the local area. One thing to note...

Great hotel . Bit on the silent location of the Awaji island ..You better have a car of you want to explore island as ithis located very far from all . This hotel is only for people who wants nice and quiet time , beautiful sunrise and fancy own catering. They will provide coffee /Tea / miso soup from machine at the lobby with cutleries . There are some local restaurants near by traditional Japanese /.Korean / noodles bar etc . Big shopping centre literally under 6 min walk will help to top up...
