"Lovely stay for my family. Room was very big and spacious. The bathtub was fantastic! My kids love it. Everything is within a short driving distance.

"Was really good, close to the Shinkansen train station. Nice and warm breakfast. Big size public bathroom. The room was small as usual for Japanese business hotels but overall my experience was excellent."

"Located outside of Kobe, but just a few stops away by rail or subway. A nice quiet location with shopping and plenty of places to eat nearby. The evening sake tasting is must try. The staff are very helpful, all you have to do is ask. I’ll be returning in the next week and a half."

"Hotel located on Port Island past cruise terminal so not central but close to public transport on Port Island line. No restaurants or other amenities close by apart from ubiquitous convenience store in same building.
Rooms very small but lovely port view.
Good value for money."

I absolutely loved my experience at Taketoritei Maruyama as a solo female traveller.
I made sure to booked my stay with half board and was given an 11-course kaiseki meal for dinner with a western breakfast. I enjoying tasting new foods which were presented to perfection. Please note to book your stay with food, as previous reviewers experienced problems getting dinner and breakfast when they booked without.

Perfect hotel! It’s is perfectly placed next to everything you need and walking distance to the station. The hotel itself is very clean, spacious with great views, very classy and very nice staff. You can see the property is well kept and cared for. I will certainly stay here again without any hesitation on my next visit and stay in Kobe. The room was huge, especially by Japanese standards. Also one thing I loved was how the aircon kept a very comfortable atmosphere in the room, including the...

Our stay at wing hotel was very comfortable. Yoneda was the nicest host at the front desk making us feel very welcome. The hotel is close to restaurants and 7-11. Very close to the train station aswell. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Costing around 600 yen per wash... Make sure you have 100 yen coins to use them!

Conveniently located for Sannomiya station, clean and spacious rooms, well-decorated. Only one minor downside being the humidifiers given out at the front desk weren’t as quiet or effective as those of other hotels I’ve stayed in recently. The cafe had a selection of local nihonshu for sale, alongside some free drinks and snacks, which was a nice touch.

A lovely little hotel tucked away in a quiet area of Sakai not far from the main part of Osaka City. Pefect location for travel as the train station (ishizugawa) is only a short walk away and will get you anywhere you need to go. Lots of tasty restaurants and cafes nearby for breakfast lunch or dinner. Not many tourists around the area so a nice genuine sleepy Japanese feeling, so peaceful after a busy day exploring!
The room is huge and I doubt you would get anything of a similar size for...
