"Since my expectations were not high, finding this excellent boutique hotel left me speechless. This is a hotel converted from a historical stone house which belonged to the owners for the last almost 300 years. Conversion was done flawlessly. The hotel is a family run business. "Rose Valley Hotel was a great experience. The rooms were beautiful with high arched ceilings and everything was very clean. The breakfast is cooked fresh for each table and was very delicious. Best free hotel breakfast we have ever had. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the balloons. The customer service was amazing and the hotel staff helped coordinate food delivery, shuttles, a hot air balloon ride, and much more. Everyone made us feel very welcome and at home."

Cappadocia Cave Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The location of Cappadocia Cave Suite is great. From it terraces we were able to get an excellent view of the hot air balloons early in the morning without having to leave the hotel. (We were able to go back to bed after taking pictures of the sun rise and hot air balloons!) The hotel is located very close to a public viewing platform but patrons of the hotel can enjoy the view within the private property. There is a nice Turkish Restaurant called Nana on the property. Delicious morning breakfasts are served at Nana with great made to order egg dishes (Turkish or Western style). We also booked our Green and Red tours and the Dervish Ceremony with the tour company that the hotel recommend. All the staff at the hotel (particularly those at the reception office) were friendly and helpful and all spoke fluent English."

"I didn’t want to say anything at first because I booked this hotel last minute and I knew what I would expect. I think if I leave a review maybe if someone has a mold allergy or asthma they should be very careful. Bathroom has a black mold. As soon as we entered to the bathroom my husband’s eyes got red and sneezing all night. Another thing it was very loud. But good view for sure!"

"The service given by the staff was terrible, we booked a room for 5 guests and there were 4 beds, when asked for the additional bed a mattress was laid on the floor (the mattress sheets were dirty) on the second night when we asked for it to be fixed the attitude of the staff was quite bad, at the end they brought a bed base and clean sheets but it took a lot of effort from our part, the experience was not good."

"The king’s valley breakfast tour was a super perk included with our stay. The daily buffet breakfast was also fantastic. The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and spoke god English. I would definitely go back again. The Kelebek restaurants are super and highly recommended."

"Doga is the sweetest and soooo helpful. They couldn’t help you enough in every way. Gave great recommendations for activities, food, encourage you to eat the included breakfast (so many options), the rooftop is so awesome and spacious with a nice little bar up there too. The location is great. It’s a short downhill walk to the downtown goreme area. Once you eat yourself to death it’s a short walk uphill but nothing treacherous (I wore sandals and was fine). Rooms aren’t anything extravagant it’s more so the experience and the outside of the hotel itself"

"Property is amazing and very unique with partial hand carved cave rooms and well appointed! Due to side hill location many of the walk ways around the resort do come in front of your room and many times through your patio sitting area. Some rooms view are obstructed by the walk ways and location with in the resort taking away open views to the area below, but all in all a very unique and great experience that you will not forget!!!"
