The property started out really well, and turned out really terrible. The checkin was great with the staff with the exception of a young woman soliciting a room stay with the help of the staff member. Going forward, I went to my room and it was awesome and I decided to go to dinner, but once I returned my key card was inoperable at the door entrance. A security person let me inside and I asked why wasn't my card allowing me access to the hotel which I have paid for a stay. He gestured towards the front desk without a verbal statement. Then, I decided to go back out and my key card was operable at that point. I proceeded to my room and I soon noticed that the lights and television started to flicker off and on. I placed a call to the front desk and someone answered the phone attempting to explain there's a power outage but the rest of the area including the Element's lights were active with the exception of the TV. I attempted to go down in-person to speak with the staff and the elevator was inoperable, too. Eventually, the hotel had a staff member come up at 1:30am to check the television and he successfully got it to work temporarily. Because the next morning I was streaming a TV show and the TV stopped working again. I contacted Expedia during the debacle to express my dismay and the representative reported the issues and agreed to contact via email within a few days.
