The hotel was a jewel in busy Athens. Close to the subway and buses. Also an easy walk to the main attractions if you like to explore a city that way. The best thing about this hotel is a secluded square , a 5 min walk away with 6-8 restaurants, bars and coffee bars. All for the neighborhood

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was quiet in the room, the climate control in the room was excellent and the location is close to the Metro station Victoria. I would stay here again, definitely.

Great stay with helpful staff. Whilst room was reasonably basic, it had everything you needed and aircon was good. Maid service was excellent daily. A great base for visiting Athens. Didn't book breakfast buffet so can't comment but plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, etc nearby.

Great budget hotel, very helpful staff. Rooms are small but have all you need except for coffee or tea. A/C was great. Easy walk to the squares for good restaurants. The breakfast as very average but there’s a waffle house in the corner along with a 24hr store, that was very handy. I would stay again.

When I travel solo, I look for a decent bed and my own private shower and toilet. And overall I just expect cleanliness. That was all I was after for my budget. Victory Inn, though, was far beyond my expectations. Really comfortable double bed, clean shower and toilet (maintained daily). Soap, shampoo/shower gel. Air con. Reasonably quiet. And a desk (useful as I had some work to do). The staff were friendly. Easy check in and check out. All spoke English which I was very grateful for. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment about the food (I’m a grab on the go kind of person). I walked everywhere but busses and metro are all around. It’s about an hour to the airport on public transport (16 euros return at time of writing) - a bus and then a direct metro. For budget conscious travellers not wishing to share a hostel room with 7 other strangers….this is perfect. Will stay here next time I’m travelling to Athens and don’t require the top end hotels.
