Location excellent. Staff excellent. Room excellent. AC stunning. No real complaints other than the TV only has Greek television not a smart TV so if you are trying to stream Netflix etc during down time you’ll have to use your phone. And the wifi is a little spotty at times. Other than that it’s a lovely hotel and would stay again. Can’t beat the views/location to acropolis
The room had an amazing view of the Acropolis and of Monastiraki Square. It’s very central to all the main locations and easy to move around from the hotel. The room was also very clean, well lit and had drinks. We visited for our anniversary and were greeted with a nice gift from the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly, nice and helpful. Strongly recommend.
Loved my stay at A for Athen!!! Great staff and a wonderful location. Would stay there again.

Liked: Staff & service
To be honest, the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. However, the hotel failed to disclose the fact that their rooftop restaurant was closed for renovations. That was the main reason, along with the location for choosing this hotel. We were offerred a short walk to a nearby property for breakfast. This was a major inconvenience! Also, the small coffee machine in the room was inadequate for our needs. That being said, location was amazing and the staff were really attentive to our needs and helpful.
The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Lovely breakfast buffet with a good selection and nice view of the Parthenon. The view is the biggest plus of this hotel.
Our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with fabulous views of the Acropolis. Hotel was in perfect location, steps away from the Metro.
I would say, our room had a perfect view of acropolis. We didn’t have to go anywhere to see New Year fireworks. I know nothing is perfect but if the elevator is a bigger, that will be close to perfect!
Great staff, checked us in early from a long flight. The room was spacious, bed and pillow comfortable. Walkable to everything! No car needed. The rooftop had great coffee and drinks. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.
Location of this hotel is amazing. We were given a front suite that had an amazing view of the Acropolis. However, with this hotel comes a lot of noise, as it is in a very crowded area with many locals and tourists enjoying themselves at all hours. The roof top bar and restaurant are very nice and have amazing views for the sunset and any time viewing!
Truly loved the rooftop bar and appreciated the complimentary drinks. The staff at the counter were lovely, and the room was clean and stylish. So much fun having a square right out the front door to walk about and enjoy.
The hotel location was prime. It was just across the square with a 180 degree view of the acropolis and was at the center of the city. While the plazasquare was very noisy and chaotic, the rooms were surprisingly quiet due to sound proofing. I like the spacious but minimalist look. I like the bed and beddings but the pillows were hard. There was no front lobby to speak of and the reception area was pretty bleak but I guess it is typical amongst the hotels within the area. The elevators were very small and cramped....also typical in the area. I am disappointed that the roof restaurant and bar were out of commission and under renovation. Our breakfast was way in another sister hotel which we have to trek in the morning. The breakfast was not as I remembered it to be when we stayed there 2 years before. While still good, it was not as good as 2 years ago. Overall, a pleasant hotel to stay at because it was smack right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend when in Athens.
Loved everything about the Hotel, clean, modern renovated rooms. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Breakfast excellent and amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar with complimentary drink. Area around was a bit noisy and so much graffiti, but that's Athens. Thank you for a lovely stay.
