"We enjoyed out 2 night stay ate the Restoration. The room was comfortable and clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the 5 o’clock social hr and the basket breakfast. I was just a little disappointed that the rooftop bar was not open either night during our stay. The first night it was closed and the second, there was a wedding. No big deal. We had a very nice stay."
"My husband and I spent two nights at this amazing hotel, it was beautiful, clean and just the perfect place for a getaway. Breakfast was delicious, so get the option where you can add breakfast here because if you pay at the restaurant is a little bit more expensive. The only downside is that we wanted to go to the pool but it was closed due to maintenance, but other than that we had a great time! We’ll be back for sure!"
Brookstone Lodge near Biltmore Village, an Ascend Collection Hotel
4/10 Poor
"Our room was not clean and was missing shampoo and soap (which I was able to get from the front desk). We were only staying one night and I had to jump on a call right when we got there, so didn't notify the staff. There were visible stains that didn't look like they'd ever been cleaned on the pull-out couch in the room and it was dirty when we pulled it out. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the breakfast, but I would not stay here again."
"Room was clean and a decent size.
It’s a large property so it always took awhile to get from the parking lot to the room. Thankfully there are four elevators from the lobby so we usually didn’t have to wait long for one.
Parking was expensive and we were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed. The room had two small fridges but no microwave or safe. There was water available in the lobby and in the gym which was very nice in a hot climate."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Downtown Asheville
8/10 Good
"Clean property, friendly staff, new property. Ample parking, however, GPS somehow directed to the nearby homeless shelter without any sign at the front. don’t follow GPS direction on arriving, just turn into the signed hotel when getting close to the property."
