Become a piece of art in Thailand’s only interactive 3-D art gallery.

An art museum with a difference, the Art in Paradise Interactive Museum brings many famous images and scenes to life with over one hundred different 3-D murals and paintings. Visitors can dive among deep-sea caves filled with marine life or get their picture taken among the famous ruins of Ayutthaya. You can even paint new eyebrows on Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous work, the Mona Lisa!

Developed by the Korean businessman Shin Jae Yeoul, the Art in Paradise Interactive Museum is located in a former nightclub. Along with ten other innovative artists, Shin Jae Yeoul has created one of Thailand’s most interesting and original tourist attractions. Divided into ten different sections, the museum is varied and fun, with everything from murals of the natural world to the deceptive Camouflage room, which is filled with magic-eye pictures that aren’t quite all they seem.

One of the most popular attractions is the Classical Art Room. Filled with masterpieces like the Mona Lisa and Dali’s Persistence of Memory displayed in 3-D form, some of the world’s most famous paintings have gone interactive. There’s a chance to have your photograph taken as you stand inside the museum’s various paintings. You can pose as an angel, stand on the edge of a deep canyon or feed elephants. The result is some incredibly life-like photographs.

The best time to visit the Art in Paradise Museum on a weekday, as the museum tends to fill up with tourists during the weekend. Give yourself at least two hours to see everything the museum has to offer, and whatever you do, don’t forget to bring your camera! There is a small coffee shop near the exit that provides refreshments.

Open daily, the museum is near North Pattaya, on Second Road. It’s easily reached by songthaew (shared taxi) or you can park nearby if you decide to drive. Bear in mind that the entrance fee is different for tourists and Thais.
