"Our room was huge, it was an amazing stay in a castle. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Food was delicious and fit for a king. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We loved our stay at Walworth Castle."

"Lovely room, very light and airy with no noise from the road. Lots of parking options and restaurant is lovely downstairs. They accommodated our request to check in early which was very kind. "
"The place is an old pub and whilst it is a little tired decor wise, this was clear from the pictures online. We had a request which wasn't passed on to the hotel, but the staff were so friendly and accommodating that it wasn't a problem. Location is lovely a quiet dales village with lovely views. Stayed one night and we both slept well. Some general maintenance of the premises wouldn't go amiss, and I would suggest a small information pack could be provided on the rooms for future guests. "

We had a spontaneous last minute meet up with friends. The Cocketts were fabulously accommodating.

"We stayed for 1 night in a family room, the pub is conveniently situated just off the market place. All of the staff that we encountered were lovely and were very helpful. I asked if we could check in early as we had a booking at Forbidden Corner and the gentleman was more than happy to accommodate this request. The room, although old was very bright and spacious with a double and a single bed, each with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries which was a pleasure surprise. There was also a kettle and drinks tray and plenty of space for clothing. The ensuite although old was perfectly acceptable with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent with cereals, juices, tea and coffee, freshly cooked full English breakfast and toast. All in all, for the price which we paid The Turf was excellent value for money, and we will be back!"
